A workshop, "Therapy and Counseling From Theory to Practice," was held the following day, with presentations by Dr. Albert Ellis, founder of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy; Allen Flagg, President of the New York Society for General semantics; Dr. Martin H. Levinson, Vice President of the NYSGS and Director of PROJECT SHARE; Katherine LiepeLevinson, a professional actor, dancer, and teacher, who is currently consulting with the NYC Department of Education to improve student and teacher performance; and Kevin Wadalavage, a substance abuse counselor, program director and trainer.
The Twelfth International Conference on General Semantics: Confronting the Challenges of Conflicting World Views will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Oct. 31 - Nov. 2, 2003, sponsored by the Institute of General Semantics.
