Insignia announces program to take its name national.

Insignia/ESG, Inc. announced the launch of a Strategic Services Provider Program designed to expand the geographic reach of its services.

The program entails forging alliances with leading independent real estate services companies in select markets in the U.S. where Insignia/ESG wants to establish capabilities without owning the operations. Oxford Realty Services, based in Pittsburgh, and Miller Corporate Real Estate Services, based in Baltimore, are the first Strategic Service Providers in the program.

Insignia/ESG intends to offer the Strategic Services Provider Program only in select U.S. markets, according to Mitchell E. Rudin, the company's president of U.S. transaction services. The program may be expanded to international markets in the future.

Member companies are selected based on exacting criteria, including regional market penetration; reputation and quality of professional staff; compatibility of corporate culture with Insignia/ESG's, and overall commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Member companies will adopt the Insignia branding, as well as the company's standards for marketing, operating platforms and corporate governance. Oxford Realty Services will henceforth operate as Insignia Oxford, and Miller Corporate Real Estate Services will operate as Insignia Miller.

"We have established this program to further expand Insignia/ESG's reach and resources," said Rudin. "The program will allow us to leverage cross-selling opportunities with member companies to better serve our national clients, and enable both sides to increase deal flow and revenues. In addition, since the Strategic Services Provider Program represents the marriage of national and regional leaders, we feel it will afford us an excellent opportunity to learn from one another and to continually update and improve our business methods."

"We are pleased to welcome Oxford and Miller to the Insignia family," said Dick Jones, an Insignia/ESG executive managing director who oversees the Strategic Services Provider Program. "These are high quality firms that have long been leaders in their marketplaces."
