Inquiry into sudden death.

AN investigation is under way into the sudden death of a 55-year-old woman.

Diane Sparey (nee Mabley) was found dead in her back garden at her home in Rathbone Terrace, Caerau, Maesteg, at about 11am on Saturday.

Police said her death was not being treated as suspicious and was being investigated on behalf of the coroner.

Acting Detective Inspector Gareth Morgan, of Bridgend CID, said: "Mrs Sparey was a well known character in the Caerau area and anyone who saw her between 9am on Friday, November 11, and 11am on Saturday, November 12, should contact Bridgend CID.
