Injured at that Oxford match; FEEDBACK.

MY sisters Ann and Carol Connor were both at the match in 1967 when Boro beat Oxford 4-1 (letters 24.7.13).

My sister Ann was underneath the wall that collapsed and Carol thought she was dead, everybody was scrambling over the wall to get to saftey, not knowing Ann and others were underneath.

The injured got carried into the Boro dressing room where all the players were. My sister Ann got admitted to Middlesbrough General Hospital along with her other friend Pat Cox, she suffered a broken leg.

Days later the Boro players visited them with a handful of presents. Ann was 15, Pat and Carol were 14.

Our dad Charlie Connor was at the match but left five minutes before all this happened.

The girls are all still alive and kicking and working very hard but they all remember that day very clearly.
