SUPERIOR DIE SET CORP.

Manufactures mold bases for injection and die-cast molds. Included are standard A & B series, cavity-retainer, three-plate, and stripper sets. All mold-base products include 500 miles free freight. Full in-house capabilities for special machined bases are provided. Other items and services offered include Slide-Lock, Poz-E-Lock, mold plate, CAD PAK, and full in-house fabricating and welding services for injection, hydraulic, and mechanical presses. TARLAN TOOLING PROJECT

Offers an exclusive and unique powdered-metal molding method for fabrication of mold cavities, which is said to virtually eliminate the need for machining, hobbing, or EDM. The result is a permanent cavity possessing Rockwell-C hardness of 41-43 and ability to replicate finish to 20-25 RMS, with corrosion resistance similar to stainless steel. These Tartan Tool-brand cavities are used in the same manner as machined tool steel.
