InforSense(R) and Matrix Science Announce Collaboration to Deliver Integrative Proteomic Analysis.

LONDON & CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- InforSense Ltd.:

--Integration of InforSense and Matrix Science Products to Provide Flexible, High-Throughput Protein Data Analysis

--Matrix Science joins InforSense's Open Workflow Partner Network

InforSense Ltd., the leader in integrative analytics platforms, today announced a collaboration with Matrix Science Ltd, a leading supplier of software for protein identification and characterization, to integrate their technologies. Matrix Science also becomes the 19th member of InforSense's Open Workflow Partner Network, a program to provide proven integrated technologies to joint customers in the life science domain.

The integration of Matrix Science's Mascot search tool and data management product, Mascot Integra, with InforSense's workflow-based integrative analytics platform, InforSense KDE, enables life science researchers both to query comprehensive proteomic data using an intuitive visual workflow interface and also to include proteomics data analysis within broader cross-discipline research programs.

"The collaboration between InforSense and Matrix Science will deliver an extended environment for flexible, ad hoc querying of high volumes of proteomics data," said Dr. John Cottrell, CEO of Matrix Science. "InforSense workflows enable life science researchers to compose and execute scientific analyses quickly and easily without programming, sharing both methods and results with co-workers."

"Mascot has become a key vendor in both academic and commercial proteomics laboratories for protein identification and we are pleased to have the opportunity to work with them," commented Dr. Jonathan Sheldon, Chief Scientific Officer, InforSense. "The integration of proteomic data analysis with InforSense KDE is a key component of our multidisciplinary analytics platform for Systems Biology."

About Matrix Science

Matrix Science develops and markets bioinformatics products and services in the fields of mass spectrometry and proteomics. Proteomics is the study of the protein complement of a cell or tissue in a specific physiological state. In recent years, mass spectrometry has become the method of choice for protein identification and characterization, analyzing large numbers of samples at high speed. Matrix Science's lead product is Mascot, a powerful search engine, which uses mass spectrometry data to identify proteins from primary sequence databases. While a number of similar programs are available, Mascot is unique in that it integrates all of the proven methods of searching. Mascot Integra offers a complete solution for managing and automating proteomics research.
