InfoVista Breaks SLM Data Barrier With First Product to Measure Voice Network Performance; New Relationship with Audilog Brings Ability to Measure Traffic on Fixed or Mobile Voice Networks.

COLUMBIA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 1999--

InfoVista, a global leader in Business-oriented Service Level Management (SLM) reporting and analysis solutions, today announced their relationship with Group Audilog, an international engineering and service company with customers in more than twenty (20) countries.

The new partnership brings to market the first mobile network performance reporting capability, as well as statistics on traffic and efficiency of fixed voice networks. These new capabilities are a significant milestone in the evolution of the Service Level Management industry--taking it beyond just data to now include fixed and mobile voice networks. It also further builds upon InfoVista's end-to-end performance strategy and suite of VistaView reports which are the first in the SLM market to enable IT managers, users and business managers to view every aspect of their IT infrastructure and are easily customizable.

The new business and technical partnership agreement between InfoVista and Audilog addresses the needs of telecommunications operators/PTTs and large enterprises through the introduction of Audilog's PickCell mobile network performance reporting product and SwitchView statistics for fixed voice networks, as well as Audilog's sale and integration of standard InfoVista products within large corporations.

"InfoVista has placed a high priority on developing an active partnership strategy with integrators and software solutions providers who will incorporate InfoVista technology into their integrated customer solutions, stated Alain Ries, InfoVista Managing Director, Business Development and Partnerships." He added, " Audilog fits our partner model perfectly with its fifteen years of experience in the telecommunications industry, its high standard of providing quality of service solutions, and its emphasis on system performance management."

Gerard Bachelier, Group Audilog CEO, commented on the agreement by stating, "Audilog complements its own products with those of market leaders such as InfoVista. Our strategy is to join our software and integration expertise with the best of breed products in the industry. For quality of service management and LAN/WAN performance management, InfoVista was the logical choice."

InfoVista's business focus on service level management and reporting provides the IT manager with the full picture of the total IT infrastructure, including the network, system and applications.
