Inflation hits masses hard during Ramadan.

ISLAMABAD -- Inflation and price-hike that hit the masses hard during Ramazan, is increasing day by day as Eid is approaching, making shopping a difficult task for many.

Bazaars illuminated all night are a common scene in the twin cities. Where shops are full of customers, roadside stalls of clothes and shoes, providing items at cheap rates have become a source of happiness for the downtrodden section of society that, otherwise, would have spent their Eid without any new clothes and shoes.

Moreover, stalls outside different shops offering out-of-fashion items on sale are also attracting a large number of people. "Everyone has to buy items for Eid keeping in view the prices," said Rahil Basharat, purchasing shoes on sale outside a shop.

He said that these stalls were a blessing for the poor masses as they were not concerned about fashion but the thing that matter most to them was the price.

Eid is an occasion of happiness, it is the desire of every individual to buy quality clothes and shoes for the festivities but inflation and price-hike have limited this desire.
