Indy car decal marks 25 years of Milwaukee's summerfest music.

Recently at the Indy 500 speedway, Summerfest executive director "Bo" Black placed a Summerfest 25th anniversary logo on Bobby Rahal's Miller Genuine Draft Indy car and announced special discounts.

The decal will continue to adorn the car through the Miller Genuine Draft 200 at the Milwaukee Mile, taking place at the Wisconsin State Fair Park June 28.

During the ceremony, Black announced new Summerfest and Genuine Draft 200 ticket discounts. Under the promotion, race fans can attend race time trials on June 27 by wearing the 1992 Summerfest Pin. The pin is available at 350 outlets in the Milwaukee area. Additionally, Miller Genuine Draft 200 ticketholders will get into Summerfest free by presenting their race day ticket stubs at the event after the race.

"With the rescheduling of the Miller Genuine Draft 200 to June 28th, visitors to Milwaukee truly will be in for one big weekend," Black bubbled. "Not only can people enjoy one of racing's premier events, they can celebrate the 25th Summerfest, one of the country's best music festivals."

Rahal said he welcomed the additional decal on his car. "The Milwaukee Mile is an 89-year-old tradition in Milwaukee and a treasured mainstay in the racing community," he explained. "And, Summerfest, with its world-class entertainment, also has become a treasured tradition in Milwaukee. We're happy to be a part of both events during the big weekend."
