Industrial estate gets a lift from 'largest letting this year'.
The company, which manufactures extract and filtration equipment for a variety of industries, has relocated from Springmeadow Industrial estate in Wentloog, Cardiff to a 20,000 sq ft unit on the estate which is owned by clients of Valad Europe, the specialist industrial and business space asset management business.
Valad refurbished the unit to the occupier's specification and ACS has signed a 10-year lease on the premises.
Mike Lemkey, managing director of ACS, said: "The space and location were ideal and the financial deal makes sense for us as we continue to grow our business."
Rob Ladd, director at DTZ in Cardiff, the letting agent for the estate, added: "Valad are generally able to take a very practical approach. They recognised this as a dynamic, well-managed company and were therefore flexible enough to tailor a deal which reflected the investment being made by ACS. We have seen a steady take-up of space over the last year or so but this is the largest letting so far this year."
