Reuters has reported that the Indonesian government has raised capital by selling its stake in PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BBNI.JK).

The government raised close to IDR1.37tn by selling a 3.1 per cent stake in the state-owned bank.

The government had been contemplating a stake sale since 2007.
