Indonesia's Suzuki starts exporting cars to Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD -- Suzuki Indomobil Motor, Indonesia will start exporting the low cost green car Suzuki Karimun LCGC to Pakistan from June 5, according to the company's commissioner Subronto Laras.

"Today we met the minister for industries to report that on June 5 we will execute the first export of the Suzuki Karimun LCGC to Pakistan," Subronto said, as quoted by Antara news agency.

The company would export 1,200 units per month, which would then be increased to 1,500 units per month in the next stage, according to him. "The export contract reaches 20,000 units per year and this will continue.

So, I guess the LCGC program from the Industry Ministry has been correct," Subronto added. IndoMobil Suzuki Motor is a joint venture between Suzuki Motor Corporation and the IndoMobil Group located in Jakarta, Indonesia and specialized in manufacturing Suzuki vehicles for the local & international market.
