Indianapolis should think big; NFL.

Byline: Phil Agius

INDIANAPOLIS have made some big plays during their surprising run to the NFL play-offs and they may serve up more spectacular stuff in Baltimore tonight, writes Phil Agius.

Buying Colts touchdown yardage at 42 with Sporting Index rates an interest at 42 as they face a Baltimore defence that is on the downgrade and susceptible against the pass.

Indianapolis have scored between two and five touchdowns in their last six outings, with yardage make-ups of 83, 110, 8, 69, 39 and 173 for an average of 80.33 in that period.

TY Hilton has been their main man for the big play with a 75-yard punt return against Buffalo and receptions of 61 yards and 70 yards in two games against Houston, while Deji Karim added a 101-yard kick return against the Texans last week.

The TD yardage make-ups of Baltimore's last six opponents have been a more restrained 21, 23, 16, 156, 27 and 25, with the big tally recorded by Denver who had a 98-yard interception return and a 51-yard receiving score. The Ravens conceded two TDs or more in five of those six games and the offence-orientated Colts have plenty of long-score potential.

Seattle are favoured by 2-4 points for today's later clash against Washington, but none of the early spread markets makes huge appeal.
