An Indian insurance firm is offering cover against cyber stalking.

Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has launched its 'Bajaj Allianz Individual Cyber Safe' policy. It offers coverage to customers who fall victim to threats such as cyber-attacks, cyber extortion and cyber-bullying.

The sum insured could be as high as INR10m and the policy can be obtained by individuals over 18 years of age.

The firm said that the policy would offer protection against various cyber risks such as identity theft, malware attack, IT theft loss, phishing, e-mail spoofing, cyber extortion and cyber stalking.
