Indian Pharmacopeia Veterinary' 2014 in progress.
A series of brain storming sessions and discussions were organised between the stalwarts and stakeholders of Animal health industry for updation of Indian Pharmacopeia Veterinary and in preparation of forthcoming edition of Indian Pharmacopeia Veterinary' 2014 by Indian Pharmacopeia Commission (IPC).
Indian Pharmacopeia Commission (IPC) is an autonomous institution of Ministry of Health and Welfare, GOI which sets standards of drugs for both human and veterinary in the country. IPC is responsible for regular updation of drugs available and in-use for the treatment of prevailing diseases and ailments.
The Indian Pharmacopeia Veterinary working group was instituted under leadership of Dr Rishendra Verma, Joint Director, NDRI and other officials of IPC namely Dr Raman Mohan Singh, Dr Nishant Dafale, Dr Robin Kumar and other officials of IPC.
The working group was represented by eminent members of Indian Federation of Animal Health Companies (INFAH). representatives from State biological units, National Institute of Animal Health, eminent Virologists and other government and industry professionals.
