Indian Navy Ships,C?in Abu Dhabi.

Summary: ABU DHABI - Three Indian naval training squadron ships have arrived at Abu DhabiAEs Mina Zayed Port to carry out exercises with the UAE Navy.

As part of Indian navy's vision of "Building Bridges of Friendship", officers and sailors of INS Tir, INS Krishna and ICGS Veera from the Southern Naval Command arrived here on Tuesday to interact with their UAE counterparts to enhance cooperation and strengthen close relations.

Talking to Khaleej Times , Captain Rajive Mehta, Commanding Officer, INS Tir, said, "We have invited the UAE officers on to our ships to see how we can carry out the training. We will also visit the naval academy of the UAE to see their training.

"This is one part of the professional interaction."

The three Indian training squadron ships will be stationed at Mina Port in Abu Dhabi till Friday and officers and cadets will interact with their counterparts in the UAE Navy, he informed.
