Indemnification goes on in regions.

TUNIS, Jan. 28, 2011 (TAP) - The indemnification, decided by the Government, for martyrs' families and injured of the People's Revolution, continued on Friday in several regions of the country.

In this regard, the regional revenue service of the Governorate of Ariana started payment of 100,000 dinars as first part of the indemnification distributed to families of five martyrs, by means of 20,000 dinars for each family, pending remainder of the compensation to be paid to the injured.

In the Kairouan Governorate, a first part of 20,000 dinars was handed to the family of one of the martyrs. Families of the injured will also benefit from material indemnification.

In Bizerte, the indemnification of martyrs of the Revolution have started since Thursday.

Indemnification will concern in a first stage six martyrs and seven injured, pending determining the final number of martyrs and injured, in co-ordination with the units of the Army and national security and the concerned health structures.

On their part, concerned regional authorities in the governorate of Nabeul have started since Thursday paying a first part of the indemnification to the families of seven martyrs from Nabeul, Dar Chaabane Fehri and Soliman and six injured, including four from Soliman.

The total amount earmarked for indemnification in the governorate of Nabeul is 158,000 dinars.
