Incumbents sweep state Legislature races.

Lane County area races for the state Legislature went as predicted, without upsets.

Incumbent Democrat Floyd Prozanski was leading challenger Marilyn Kittleman, 56 percent to 44 percent in the Senate District 4, which represents parts of Eugene.

Democrat Lee Beyer was leading Michael Spasaro, 54 percent to 41 percent, in Senate District 6, which includes Springfield.

Incumbent Democrat Chris Edwards was leading Karen Bodner, 61 percent to 38 percent in Senate District 7, which includes north Eugene.

GOP incumbent Bruce Hanna was leading Sara Byers, 58 percent to 40 percent in House District 7, which includes south Lane County.

Democrat incumbent Paul Holvey was leading challenger Simone Gordon, 72 percent to 28 for House District 8.

Incumbent Democrat Arnie Roblan was leading challenger R. Scott Roberts, 53 percent to 46 percent for House District 9.

Incumbent Democrat Jean Cowan was leading challenger Becky Lemler, 58 percent to 41 percent for House District 10.

Incumbent Democrat Phil Barnhart was comfortably ahead of challenger Kelly Lovelace for House District 11, which includes parts of Eugene.

Incumbent Democrat Elizabeth Beyer was leading challenger Sean VanGordon, 56 percent to 43 percent, for House District 12, which includes parts of Springfield.

Incumbent Democrat Nancy Nathanson was leading challenger Bill Young, 63 percent to 33 percent, in House District 13, which includes parts of Eugene.

Incumbent Democrat Val Hoyle was leading challenger Dwight Coon, 50 percent to 44 percent, in House District 14, which includes parts of Eugene.
