In-running might be call for Charlie.

CHARLIE LISTER is a best-priced 5-4 to land a fifth Betfair Trainers' Championship at Doncaster tonight (points scored 10, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1), although with his first two runners of the evening being quoted as big as 6-1 and 10-1 there could be better odds available during the meeting.

Betfair's head of edia Tony Calvin commented: "After last year's annihilation job by Charlie at Sheffield, it will be fascinating to see how our in-running market develops because it appears that his first two runners are perhaps not his strongest.

"But even if Charlie does struggle for points early on - and he currently trades at just under even-money to retain the title - it will be a brave layer who takes too much of a liberty with his price. But with such tight margins, that will potentially leave some excellent value elsewhere." Betfair market on the Trainers' Championship (at 5.30 last night): 1.97 Lister, 3.7 Wallis, 5.4 Cahill, 7.6 Draper, 32 Allsopp, 38 Childs.
