In the finals for third year running.

AFTER a head-to-head involving 16 chef teams from across the country, Loughborough College has reached the final of the Country Range Student Chef Challenge for the third consecutive year.

Lewis Dobson, Lechaie McManus and John Nismal have the 2018 crown in their sights after their place was confirmed following an outstanding performance at this week's college-hosted semi final.

Loughborough College won the prestigious national competition in 2016, earning them a coveted place - and a medal - at the International Culinary Olympics and were selected once again for the final showdown in 2017.

Chef lecturer and head of hospitality and catering at Loughborough College Darren Creed said: "I am so proud of the students. They have put so much into creating this menu and worked really hard."

The Country Range Student Chef Challenge grand final takes place at Hotelympia in London on March 7.
