CASES heard at Coventry Magistrates Court on Monday, September 2, included: Disoni Bottino, 41, of Crescent Avenue, Stoke, admitted having a combat knife and a locking knife in public. He was jailed for 12 weeks.

Adam Boyle, 23, of Arundel Road, Cheylesmore, admitted damaging a door. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months and told to pay PS80 compensation and PS85 costs.

George Hedley, 41, of Tile Hill Lane, Canley, admitted damaging a front door. He was fined PS260 and told to pay PS200 compensation and an PS85 victim surcharge.

Peter Daly, 46, of Bowness Close, Radford, admitted assault by beating, and breaching a conditional discharge. He was given a 12-month community order with 60 hours' unpaid work, and programme and supervision requirements, and told to pay PS50 compensation and PS85 costs.

William Farrell, 32, of Privet Road, Bell Green, admitted two counts of assault by beating. He was given a two-year community order with 100 hours' unpaid work, with drug rehabilitation, programme and supervision requirements, and a restraining order, and told to pay PS50 compensation and PS85 costs.

Rafal Kaczor, 29, of Avon Street, Stoke, was found guilty of two counts of assault by beating. He was jailed for 20 weeks, suspended for 12 months, with 100 hours' unpaid work and activity and supervision requirements, and a restraining order, and told to pay PS200 compensation, an PS80 surcharge and PS320 costs.

Mandeep Kandola, 48, of Trenance Road, Exhall, was found guilty of breaching a nonmolestation order by swearing and making threats. He was given a 12-month community order with 140 hours' unpaid work, and a restraining order, and told to pay PS150 compensation and PS400 costs.

Damon Kinney, 18, of Sewall Highway, Wyken, admitted two counts of assault by beating and damaging two wooden doors. He was given a 12-month community order with 60 hours' unpaid work and supervision, and a restraining order, and told to pay PS300 compensation and PS85 costs.
