In the Forth on the First.

HORDES of hardy fundraisers braved the icy waters of the Forth yesterday as thousands watched the Loony Dook.

Many revellers were chilling out after Hogmanay in Edinburgh, but created a fantastic atmosphere in South Queensferry despite their sore heads.

Hundreds dived in at noon with fancy dress, bikinis and bridalwear - despite temperatures hitting minus one.

Organiser David Steel said: "Everyone enjoyed it and a lot of money was raised."
