But what made the event extra special was the fact it meant Birmingham was flying the flag for Britain as part of a global fashion event last Wednesday called Fashion's Night Out.
Organised by Vogue magazine, some 16 countries hosted fashion shows across the globe, including Australia, Russia, Taiwan, France and America.
