In the shades...A little frog hidesHis glittering wet skinBlinking in the darkIn the shadesHe strives for lifeHis beating heart, his lively soulOutside the shadeIn a world of evil wondersThe enemy lurksThe little frog shiversA stab in the backThe enemy sneaksThe little frog is frightenedHe tries to leap but it's all slipperyHe's so littleAnd the enemy is so grandWhat's he to do?Where is his mother now?As the enemy approachesAnd the end draws nearThe little frog callsMama!He sees the eyes of evilClosing in about himHis ninety million blade sharp teethCasting a shadow over himLike a mighty storm cloudC*Soon his fear endsHis body grows coldAnd his soul, yet not bornEmbraces a drop of rainThe enemy walks awayTriumphant and hideousIs it misfortune?Or is it just life?Death bends downPicks up the little frogAnd vanishes into the mistIn the shades It all endsAnd life yet beginsAladdin QaraqishIn The Shades
