In London, JLW represents Kumagai-Gumi in major lease.

Jones Lang Wootton, the International real estate advisory firm, today announced that its client Kumagai Gumi, the leading Japanese civil engineering contractor, has leased the whole of Thames Exchange in the City of London to Midland Bank.

Comprising 190,000 square feet and located adjacent to Southwark Bridge in the heart of London's financial district, the building is ideally suited for the location of the Treasury operations of Midland Bank and Hongkong Bank, as well as the London office of James Capel.

While terms have not been disclosed, the rent is in line with City appraisals for properties of this quality, Jones Lang Wootton reports.
