In KL, slow start for Nomination Day.
All the candidates for the Titiwangsa parliamentary seat have started marching for Nomination Day as they make their way to SM Aminuddin Baki in Jalan Kampung Pandan this morning.
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) Srikandi women's wing chief Rina Harun was the first candidate waiting by the police barricades to submit her nomination forms.
Around 200 Pakatan Harapan (PH) supporters, all of them carrying PKR flags, had gathered since 8am and conducted a short ceramah outside the barricades near the nomination centre.
Incumbent Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani from Barisan Nasional (BN) marched later with hundreds of his supporters from his service centre, who were chanting 'DJ' - his initials.
Titiwangsa is expected to see a three-cornered fight between Johari, Rina and PAS' Mohammad Noor Mohammad.
Meanwhile, in the SK Bukit Damansara, Segambut candidates Hannah Yeoh from PH, Datuk Loga Bala Mohan from BN and Mohd Solleh Abd Razak from PAS made their way to the nomination centre accompanied by their respective proposers and seconders.
Banners held high, their supporters chanted party slogans as Yeoh and her supporters arrived at 8.45am.
Supporters were kept at a distance by police barricades, with a force of over 50 stationed along access roads leading to the centre along with one Fire and Rescue Department truck.
