In Hoboken, developer acquires landmark building.

One of Hoboken, New Jesey's most venerable landmark buildings is under new ownership.

70 Hudson Street, a seven-story, 37,000 square foot office/retail building was recently purchased by Hobukiet, a division of Bukiet Building & Management Co. of Clifton New Jersey.

According to an announcement made by Michael Bukiet, who will be directing the leasing program for 70 Hudson Street, the building is about 85 percent occupied with several office spaces currently available. An upgrading program, now being designed, calls for the installation of new flooring in the lobby and various refurbishments to hallways and public spaces.

Bukiet said that office space ranging from approximately 500 to 3,300 square feet is available.
