Imran usurped donation money, misappropriated party funds: Gulalai.
ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf MNA Ayesha Gulalai on Tuesday charged Imran Khan with usurping donation money and said party funds are misappropriated on large scale.
Talking to media after submitting reply with the Election Commission in disqualification case, the member stated that reference has been filed to malign her for unveiling corruption of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chief Imran Khan.
'When it comes to Imran Khan himself, he files references against others but when this Commission asks him to present party funds details, he abuses institutions,' she said. 'Imran instead of teaching others, himself learn to respect the state institutions.'
She said all institutions are our institutions and it is mandatory on everybody to respect them. But, this philosophy cannot be understood by Imran Khan because he attacked the institutions like Parliament and PTV and repeatedly blamed the Election Commission of rigging.
'If the elected representatives will not respect the institutions then why common people would do so,' she added. Ayesha said Imran Niazi's so called struggle against corruption is just an eye wash because he is shying away from corruption in KPK government. 'Whenever the corruption of KP government was brought to his knowledge, he replied it was not his headache.'
He has strong relations with land mafia in Lahore and ruthlessly spent the poor workers money in NA-120 by-election, Gulalai said. 'I have all the sympathy with PTI workers who are hoodwinked through rhetoric against corruption. Contrary to that Imran himself is surrounded by corrupt people.'
She also charged Imran Khan with misusing resources of KP provincial government. 'Then how can a person who is himself involved in such practice, can create a new Pakistan.'
