Improved rotary union design.

Advanced Machine and Engineering (Rockford, IL) introduces both new and improved OTT-Jakob GD single-passage rotary unions with tile GDR-LC, GDR and GD units. The rotary unions fit into OTT-Jakob unclamp units and also work with the clamping system. The unions are designed for OTT-Jakob's power drawbars found in machine tools with a high-speed spindle ill which the machine tool feeds coolant through a single passage to the tool. The unions Call also conduct air-for-line clean-out and part dust-off procedures. Additional features include:

* Increased spindle speeds of 24,000 and 75,000 RPM.

* Coolant pressures of 80 BAR.

* Volume lubrication pmx of 5 BAR.
