Siemens has combined PRISMA's digital quality with updated features and improved TwinMic[TM] directional microphone technology. The PRISMA 2 line offers a wide variety of behind-the-ear and custom models for any level of hearing loss.The PRISMA 2 instruments offer flexible four-channel technology with optimized compression control and output limiting. They also feature a new feedback management system, improved voice activity detection, and acoustic indicators for program change and power management. Their passive and adaptive feedback algorithms allow more gain without annoying feedback for many patients. The PRISMA 2 system keeps patients informed of battery status by emitting soft signals.
