Immersion announces addition of its haptic technology within Sharp Corporation's docomo AQUOS PHONE ZETA SH-06E.
Immersion Corporation (Nasdaq:IMMR), a developer and licenser of touch feedback technology, disclosed on Tuesday that its haptics technology has been incorporated within the Sharp manufactured and recently released docomo AQUOS PHONE ZETA SH-06E.
The company's TouchSense and Integrator software within the smartphone is Sharp's first device to market under its new license agreement with Immersion.
Additionally, the company mentioned that the AQUOS PHONE ZETA SH-06E is available in Japan through NTT docomo and has an FHD resolution IGZO screen that provides high-quality images and has a low power consumption technology that contributes to the product's battery life, which can last for up to two days. Together with the f/1.9 camera lens and a music player, this is a high-end phone for the modern day mobile user.
