Imelda's Hall set to be May queen.

FRESH from a star turn on Jools Holland's Hootenanny, IMELDA MAY is due to wow fans at the Royal Albert Hall on May 4. Another singer-songwriter - BETH HART - will be performing at the 02 Shepherd's Bush Empire in west London on February 25 to promote her album Don't Explain. It features blues guitar hero JOE BONAMASSA, who begins a 15-day British tour in Brighton on March 23 before playing Sheffield, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Birmingham and Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall. Cream legend JACK BRUCE and his BIG BLUES BAND launch a 10-gig tour in March starting in Milton Keynes on the 18th and ending in Newcastle on the 31st. The fabulous BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB kick off their UK tour on April 15 at Cambridge Corn Exchange.

The band, whose third album A Different Kind Of Fix is out now, will play Brighton, Wolverhampton, Edinburgh and Liverpool before finishing at London's Alexandra Palace on the 28th. The LIGHTNING SEEDS are playing 10 intimate venues next month, including Whitehaven in Cumbria and Frome, Somerset. And fans of Bruce Springsteen can catch The Boss at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on June 21 or next day at Manchester's Etihad stadium.
