Illva Saronno USA.

Italian drinks group Illva Saronno has set up its own U.S. distribution unit, Illva Saronno USA. The new unit will handle the sales and marketing of the group's Disaronno spirits brand beginning in January. The company's contract with Bacardi, in place since 1999, expires at the end of December 2013. Illva's new unit, to be headquartered in New Jersey, is retaining the existing regional distributors for the brand. The division is being headed by Brett Dunne, who joins from Southern Wine & Spirits. The change does not affect the Italian firm's Tia Maria brand, which will continue to be handled by Kobrand in the U.S.
