Illuminata Adds Mark Ferelli to Analyst Team; Data Storage Commentator and Journalist Joins Leading IT Analyst Firm.

NASHUA, N.H. -- Illuminata Inc., a leading IT analyst firm serving enterprise computing, today announced the hiring of storage industry expert and commentator Mark Ferelli as the newest member of its analyst team. Ferelli will be responsible for on-going storage research, analysis of topics pertaining to enterprise-scale computing, and will provide advisory services to IT developers and decision makers.

Prior to joining Illuminata, Ferelli served as vice president of West World Productions Inc. and editor-in-chief of their respected magazine group. In this position, he oversaw the publication of Computer Technology Review, Storage Inc., Storage Management Solutions, Storage and Government, and Storage and Entertainment. Over the past 17 years, Ferelli has authored hundreds of articles on the subjects of storage and storage management.

In 2000, Ferelli was awarded the Press Access PRESStige award for journalistic influence in the computer industry, the only technology journalist so honored that year. Ferelli is a nationally recognized speaker and moderator at industry events, including Dataquest's Invitational Computer conferences, the RAID Advisory Board, Networld+Interop, regional and national COMDEX shows, Strategic Research Corp., Peripheral Strategies, the NASA/IEEE Mass Storage Symposium, the Tape Technology Council, and major firms within the computer storage field.
