Illegal staff caught out by officials in crackdown.

THREE illegal workers have been caught in the Black Country by border officials as part of a campaign to crack down on rogue employers.

Immigration and police officers arrested two Chinese men in a swoop on the New Wok Chinese Takeaway in Darlaston Road, Walsall last Friday.

And an Iraqi man was detained in a similar operation at the Drive Through Carwash in Wolverhampton Road, also inS Walsall, on the same night.

All three workers are now set to be deported and the companies which employed them could be fined up to pounds 10,000 per illegal employee. UK Border Agency immigration officer Sarah Bahara said: "We are determined to pull the plug on the illegal jobs which lure illegal immigrants to come to the UK."

Anyone who suspects illegal workers are being employed in the Black Country should call Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
