Ifans : above is Evanna spellbinding; EXCLUSIVE.
ACTOR Rhys Ifans has confessed his costar Evanna Lynch cast a spell on him while they worked together on an upcoming Harry Potter movie.
Ifans, who plays the kindly wizard Xenophilius Lovegood in the longawaited Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows found - Evanna, 18, to be magical.
He says he was fascinated and slightly intimidated to be with someone who knew so much about the Harry Potter books.
"She's extraordinary. If someone has a question about Harry Potter - and there are a lot of experts on board - but if anyone needs to know a detail, they ask Evanna.
"She intimidates everyone. I worked with an expert on Potter. But it was really a pleasure working with her. All, all the children or whatever you call them, were great, it was just very good past few weeks there."
Ifans, 41, says the movie, in which he plays the father of Evanna's character Luna Lovegood, is "really great". He added: "It was a joy to do. When you're an English actor and that you are called to play in Harry Potter it's a great honour.
"You see actors with whom you have already played. We ended up on our chairs, eating our sandwiches dressed as witches. It was a surreal."
Evanna, of Termonfeckin, Co Louth, beat more than 15,000 girls to land the role of Luna Lovegood in her first Potter movie, The Order Of The Phoenix.
The first episode of Deathly Hollows is due out in November.
