Ideas welcomed.

I read with interest the letter from Manager (GDN, September 3), regarding the need for a new approach to satisfy the ever increasing demand for single family housing here in Bahrain.

I agree very much with his arguments that there are more modern technologies and practices that serve to manufacture single family housing using environmentally friendly methods. The fact that this can be achieved much more rapidly is also a big plus.

I am interested in finding out how I or others with a similar vision could get together with Manager to discuss these issues and perhaps collectively come up with a workable programme to move forward with his ideas.

I would welcome anyone who is interested in pursuing this subject further to contact me via email so that I can act as a central point for collecting names and information to share with others who wish to address this issue here in Bahrain.

I can be contacted at jpier99463@aol.com. I urge interested parties to contact me at their earliest convenience.
