ITP to launch lane discipline campaign on Wednesday.

ISLAMABAD -- Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) would launch an awareness campaign on Wednesday to educate citizens on the importance of lane discipline.

According to ITP spokesperson, squads of traffic police will be present on all important roads including Serena Chowk, F-8 Exchange Chowk, Khayaban Chowk, F-10, Dhokri Chowk and other places to educate road users about traffic rules.

On the special instructions of SSP Traffic, different Mobile Education Units of ITP will arrange special briefing sessions on road safety to make the campaign more effective and meaningful.

The main objective of this road safety campaign is to educate citizens regarding lane/line discipline during the drive to make them aware on how to drive safely roads.

During this campaign thousands of road users would be educated to follow traffic rules and minimize the accident ratio.

Pamphlets and leaflets would be distributed to create awareness among citizens while teams of education wing led by SSP (Traffic) Farrukh Rasheed would raise awareness about traffic rules among the citizens of federal capital.
