TELECOMWORLDWIRE-10 July 2003-ITESOFT's software used for British music web site(C)1994-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

The British Music Information Centre has chosen automatic document capture software from software company ITESOFT in order to compile a resource of contemporary British music.

The centre will set up an online digital collection containing over 30,000 works by approximately 2,600 British composers dating back to 1900. This resource will be available free-of-charge and features some unpublished and out of print scores that would normally be difficult to find, according to the organisation.

The financial terms of the agreement were not announced.
