IT'S DAVID JENOLA!; TOP OF THE LEAGUE: Football hunk takes hair ad job from Friends star.

Soccer hero David Ginola has nabbed Jennifer Aniston's job plugging L'Oreal hair products.

The French hunk, who signed for Spurs last summer, will star in the TV ads from next week.

Ginola, 30, takes over the role from Friends actress Jennifer, who launched L'Oreal's Elvive range.

The long-haired heart-throb will become the first man ever to front the beauty firm's TV ad campaign in a deal set to net him an estimated pounds 60,000- plus.

But yesterday, L'Oreal denied they were ditching 28-year-old Jen in favour of the midfield ace.

The company claimed that both Aniston and supermodel Claudia Schiffer, who has also represented them, will remain a part of future ad campaigns.

A spokeswoman said: "We can confirm we have signed David Ginola but it is not true that we will not be using Jennifer too.

"The adverts with David will follow a similar pattern to previous ones in which he will talk about the product. There will be no silly gimmicks or plots."
