ISP Networks Selects Farallon's Netopia as Remote Site Internet Router and ISDN Modem of Choice; Farallon Helps ISPs Increase Business.

ALAMEDA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 1996--Farallon Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:FRLN), and ISP Networks Inc., a leading Internet service provider, today announced that ISP Networks has selected Farallon's Netopia as the Internet router and ISDN modem of choice for providing easy-to-use, high-speed Internet connectivity to its customers in California.

The Companies also announced today that ISP Networks has joined Farallon's Netopia Internet Service Partner Program (NISPP) in an effort to increase its business through value-added technology-sharing and joint marketing efforts. The agreement with ISP Networks reflects the rapidly growing demand for Farallon's Netopia solutions by ISPs nationwide.

As part of the agreement, ISP Networks will offer customers ISDN LAN services with the $150 set-up fee waived, and only charge $65.50 for the first month and $130/month thereafter with a one-year contract. This economical package includes two free POP Mail Boxes or free domain mail forwarding, full routing and DNS services, Class C address space as needed, 5 MB disk space for FTP files, 5 MB Web site hosting service, NNTP news service, Clarinet news groups, MX Mail spooling for off-line e-mail operation.

With Timbuktu Pro, ISP Networks will be able to remotely observe or control a customers' computer screen to identify problems, provide just-in-time training, and walk the customer through a solution.

Netopia ISP Program Highlights

The NISPP program is designed to expand the channels by which individuals, workgroups, small- to medium-size businesses, and schools can obtain Farallon's Netopia Internet Solution.
