ISO registrations.

Amoco Chemical's olefins and polymers business unit was awarded certification under ISO 9002 by Quality Systems Registrars. Amoco's Chocolate Bayou, TX, petrochemical facility and its Cedar Bayou, TX, polypropylene facility, both of which produce ethylene, propylene, butadiene and polypropylene, were certified.

Astor Wax's Titusville, PA, facility was certified under ISO 9002. The company develops specialty wax products for a variety of industrial applications, including the plastics and rubber industries.

J.M. Huber's Chemicals Division received ISO 9002 certification from S.G.S. Yarsley Quality Assured Firms Limited for its facilities in Havre de Grace, MD, and Etowah, TN. The division supplies synthetic silicas, silicates and other specialty chemicals for the plastics and rubber industries.

Nalco Chemical's manufacturing facilities in the United States, as well as its corporate and technical headquarters, have received ISO 9002 certification. The audits were conducted by ABS Quality Evaluations. Nalco now has 23 sites which are ISO 9000 certified.
