ISG SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH GE'S NUCLEAR MEDICINE DIVISION

 MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- ISG Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISGTF) (ISG) today announced that it has signed an agreement with the Nuclear Medicine Division of GE Medical Systems (GE) of Milwaukee, concerning the supply of licenses for Imaging Applications Platform (IAP) and other ISG software products. This division of GE intends to incorporate IAP and other ISG software products into future product offerings. The announcement follows the signing of an earlier agreement between GE and ISG which made IAP available for development use in a broad range of its diagnostic imaging equipment.
 IAP is an industry-leading approach to software development. It encompasses an Application Program Interface (API) to a software infrastructure and image processing tools, which greatly improve the productivity of medical imaging applications engineering through faster software development and greater re-usability.
 GE Medical Systems is a world leader in diagnostic medical imaging. It has operations worldwide, with major facilities in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in Tokyo, and in Paris. GE is a public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
 ISG Technologies Inc., a Canadian company, designs, manufactures, markets, and supports visual data processing technology for the medical imaging market. The technology consists of proprietary software and parallel-processing accelerator hardware. Radiologists and surgeons use these systems to display, manipulate, and analyze two- and three- dimensional images of actual patient anatomy. The company won the 1991 Canada Export Award, and won the 1992 Canada Award for Business Excellence in the Innovation category. ISG is a public company, with common shares listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (symbol: ISOT) and New York's NASDAQ (symbol: ISGTF).
