IS THE NEXT CHRISTIE BRINKLEY OR RACHEL HUNTER IN CHICAGO? TEN REGIONAL FINALISTS TO COMPETE IN THE FORD SUPERMODEL OF THE WORLD CONTEST

 CHICAGO, June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, June 12, ten gorgeous regional women will participate in a fashion show and compete for the opportunity to be the next Ford SuperModel of the World. The event will take place at the North Riverside Park Mall in Riverside, Ill., from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The regional finalists include:
 -- Jennifer Fettig, 22, of Chicago. Daughter of John and Mary Jo Bradburn, Jennifer recently graduated with Dean's List honors from Indiana State University with a degree in fashion design and marketing. In her spare time, Jennifer loves to paint and draw. She enjoys the fine arts.
 -- Carmen Foster, 22, of Chicago. Daughter of Oscar Foster Jr. and Deborah Salter, Carmen is currently a senior at Chicago State University. Carmen plans to further her education and obtain her masters in journalism. She plans to pursue a career as an investigative reporter. Her hobbies include modeling, tennis, swimming and reading.
 -- Maxine Guevara, 21, of Cleveland. Daughter of Georgina Guevara and Manvel R. Morales, Maxine loves running, swimming and spending time with her husband and three-month-old baby girl.
 -- Iwona Grosskopf, 20, of Bettendorf, Iowa. This beautiful young woman can't wait to travel to Chicago to prove that she has what it takes to be the next Ford SuperModel of the World.
 -- Justine Kaley, 18, of Wayzata, Minn. Daughter of Philip and Lorraine Kaley, Justine will graduate from Orono High School this year. After graduation, Justine will spend the summer working in France as a stable manager at a resort. Justine loves horses, reading, exercising, and playing softball, soccer and tennis, as well as skiing.
 -- Heather Langstraat, 17, of Cottage Grove, Minn. Daughter of Warren and Mary Langstraat, Heather will be a senior at Park High School in the fall. Heather loves to figure skate and ride horses. She plans to pursue a career in child psychology.
 -- Robyn Myhr, 18, of Bloomington, Minn. Daughter of Nancy and Kent Myhr, Robyn recently graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, Minn. Robyn plans to pursue her modeling career and aspires to utilize her ability to make people laugh as a regular on "Saturday Night Live."
 -- Janelle Pratt, 15, of Taylor, Mich. Daughter of David and Paula Pratt, Janelle is currently in the 10th grade at Truman High School, where she is a member of the Student Council. She loves to dance, play softball and model.
 -- Lucia Sciaraffa, 18, of Appleton, Wis. Daughter of Jean Sciaroffa, Lucia is currently a freshman at DePaul University. Lucia is a pre-med major and plans to pursue a career in medicine. In her spare time, Lucia plays the clarinet, runs, swims and rides horses.
 -- Lisa Wortman, 18, of Apple Valley, Minn. Lisa recently graduated from St. Paul Academy. Lisa will be attending the University of Montana in the fall. Lisa plays also and tenor saxophone, piano and clarinet, and sings first soprano. Not only is she musically inclined, but Lisa enjoys athletics as well. She loves volleyball, softball, running, weight training and cross-country skiing.
 This event is co-sponsored by Cover Girl Cosmetics and Ford Models. The lucky regional winner will proceed to the finals in New York, where she will stay in luxury at the Paramount Hotel. She will be tested by a top Ford photographer and appear on the nationally syndicated "Maury Povich Show." If she wins the finals, she has the chance to win a $250,000 modeling contract in the Ford SuperModel of the World Contest at Disney/MGM in Orlando, Fla., in August.
