IRS PROBLEM SOLVERS AVAILABLE

 IRS PROBLEM SOLVERS AVAILABLE
DALLAS, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Been back and forth through

normal channels trying to get a knotty tax problem resolved? Believe it or not, there is someone at the Internal Revenue Service to help you.
The Problem Resolution Program was established to help cut through red tape and help taxpayers with chronic tax problems like missing refunds, mixed up Social Security numbers and incorrect billings.
The IRS cautions that the program is not a substitute for normal procedures. For example, taxpayers who have not received their tax refund should first call the IRS tax information number, 800-829-1040 before contacting the Problem Resolution office. If the issue is unresolved after that contact, the person can ask to be referred to the Problem Resolution office.
Most taxpayers will never need the program's services. But those with a persistent tax problem will find the PRP willing and able to help.
