IRISH DAILY Mirror COMMENT: Put a stop to tax disgrace.
In the 1980s it was the ordinary PAYE worker that kept the country afloat while the rich, who had their money stashed away in offshore bank accounts, paid next to nothing.
It was believed that those days had gone but it now clear that a certain section of Irish society believe paying tax is for the little guy.
The Government has been complicit in facilitating this tax avoidance.
The unions must make sure the Finance Minister insists the wealthy and not just the workers pay their fair share of tax.
