IRD's projects in Yemen discussed.

HODEIDAH,Feb.09(Saba)-Hodeidah Governor Ahmed al-Jabali met here on Wednesday with Director of International Relief and Development (IRD) Organization in Yemen.

At the meeting, al-Jabali discusses with the IRD's official projects being implemented by the organization in Hodeidah province in the cultural area.

Al-Jabali hailed the organization's initiative to activate the cultural aspect of the school theater in a number of districts in the province.

He confirmed the readiness of the province's leadership to facilitate all difficulties for the success of the organization's activities in the province.

For his part, the IRD's official pointed out that the organization has trained 32 dramatists in order to qualify them to do theatrical works in accordance with global theatrical programs and concepts.

The IRD has finished the first phase of its activities in the province and works now on the second phase, which is represented in display of six plays in eight schools in some districts of the province. 1999 - 2011
