IPT, E-Vision File for Manufacturing Patents.

Russian fuel cell company Independent Power Technologies, Ltd. (IPT) and Belgium's E-Vision have filed a joint patent with patent offices in both Russia and Belgium.

The patent pertains to advanced manufacturing procedures for alkaline fuel cell electrodes. IPT is using electrodes manufactured through the new process in its generators.

"As we continuously are improving the performance and manufacturing procedures of our products, we plan to file for new patents to safeguard the uniqueness of our technology," said E-Vision CEO Jef Spaepen.
