IPRA Golden World Awards - Mediators Wins Two Ipra Awards.

Mediators Private Limited (MPL) won two prestigious Awards from IPRA (International Public Relations Association) in the Healthcare Agency category this year. The awards were presented by IPRA President Bart de Vries at a ceremony held in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Pakistan entered the Awards for the first time and received appreciation for its work towards eliminating polio - a dreaded disease. Both the awards were presented for the courageous Mediators campaign on "Students Movement Against Childhood Diseases (SMACD) - a collaboration between UNICEF and Mediators.

Said Dr Samia Babar, "The main reason for the Mediators campaign were many misconceptions and a lack of information and knowledge of Pakistani children suffering from various diseases such as Measles, Hepatitis-B, Poliomyelitis, Childhood Tuberculosis, Hib Pneumonia, Meningitis, Pertussis and Neonatal Tetanus. Our campaign served as a means of awareness and helped in strengthening future generations in Pakistan."

IPRA Golden World Awards are presented every year. Recipients take pride in the acknowledgement given to them through their entries which meet international standards of excellence in public relations. IPRA has been recognized over 60 years by the United Nations and is now present across the world wherever public relations is practised.

Mediators will turn 30 in 2018 and is an affiliate of Burson-Marsteller.
