IOF arrest seven settlers accused of attacking Palestinians.
Israel indicted seven settlers on Monday suspected of carrying out attacks against Palestinians in the Ramallah district area, Israeli media reports.
Last Wednesday agag order lifted revealed the arrests of the suspected Jewishterrorist group accusedof attacking Palestinians.
The suspects include anIOF soldier in the Netzah Yehuda infantry battalion, Yisrael Shendrofi, from the illegal settlement of Nahliel, his brother Pinhas, Michael Kaplan from Beit Shemesh, Itamar Ben Aharon from Jerusalem, Shneor Dana from the illegal settlement of Ma'ale Efraim and two minors.
Israeli prosecutors are demanding that all but three suspects be kept in custody for the duration of the trial, and that the remaining three be placed under house arrest.
According to the Israeli media, the arrest warrant says that the minors and the Shendorfi brothers have admitted to committing the crimes for which they have been charged.
As stated in the indictment, the IOF soldierand the two minors whose names were withheld from publication, had a crate of ammunition, including standard-issue flashbanggrenades, a stun grenade, five M-16 rifle magazines and parts of an M-16 rifle.
During interrogation, some of the suspects admitted to a string of attacks against Palestinians, including arson, vandalism, rock-throwing, assault and at least one unsuccessful attempt to burn a Palestinian house with a family inside, the Shin Bet security service said in a statement earlier in April.
The suspects told investigators they were "inspired" by the Duma firebombing, a deadly terror attack carried out by Jewish extremists that killed three members of the Dawabsha family, including an 18-month-old baby, in Duma village July last year.
In one of their attacks in December, two tear gas grenades were thrown into the home of a Palestinian family in the occupied West Bank village of Beitillu.
According to the incitement, the two minors took the grenades, wiped off their fingerprints, and wore masks before heading to the Beitillu.
After making sure that the house was occupied, they smashed a window and threw them inside.
The head of the Palestinian household was awakened by irritation to his eyes from the gas but managed to get the baby out of the housein time to avoid anyinjury.
In yet another charge the minors and two of the other suspects beat up a 60-year-old Palestinian man with sticks and tear gas. The victim was moderately wounded.
